Abstract

This community service initiative aims to connect the significance of Good Friday with the values of forgiveness and social solidarity within the life of the congregation. The educational session was held on April 3, 2026, at Logos Church, North Jakarta, with 40 participants in attendance. The program employed an educational-reflective approach, incorporating teachings on the narrative of the cross and the responsibility one holds toward others. The discussion was further supported by a literature review on forgiveness education and the church’s social ministry. A qualitative evaluation, based on the organizers' assessments, indicated a very positive response and beneficial outcomes for the congregation's spiritual development. While these results suggest an initial receptivity that supports the program's continuity, changes in knowledge and behavior have not yet been measured. Ongoing guidance and periodic evaluations are recommended to monitor the practical application of forgiveness and solidarity in daily life.
