This community service article describes basic radiotelephony training for 27 Helicopter Landing Officer trainees at Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic on 6 October 2026. The program introduced RTF General Operating Procedures, including message sequencing, phraseology, radio test procedures, and communication confirmation. Participant reactions were assessed using six four-category questionnaire items. Very Good ratings were recorded for overall quality (88.9%), material relevance (81.5%), instructor delivery (81.5%), facilitator performance (70.4%), fulfillment of expectations (59.3%), and support for continuation (85.2%). The findings indicate favorable evaluations, with scope for strengthening practical exercises. Because no objective proficiency test was reported, improvements in radiotelephony competence or operational safety cannot be inferred.
