Abstract

This community service activity aimed to generate spatial information regarding landslide-prone areas to support preparedness and strengthen the Disaster-Resilient Village (Destana) initiative in Bantar Village, Wanayasa District, Banjarnegara Regency. Conducted between July and August 2026, the activity involved coordination with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the village government, the development of a Destana framework, spatial data collection, field observations and interviews, and map processing. ArcGIS was used for mapping, while QGIS was utilized to create map insets. Hazard-related data was sourced from the BPBD, and DEMNAS data provided elevation information. The activity produced both digital and printed maps identifying six threat locations—three classified as moderate risk and three as high risk—distributed across the hamlets of Bantar, Pramen, and Sikenong. These maps assist the village government and the community in more easily understanding the distribution of hazard-prone areas.
