Abstract

This Field Experience Practice (PPL) activity aims to increase teachers' creativity in developing educational toys (APE) through training in making hand puppets at RA An Nursyifa Kindergarten in Abason Village, South Totikum District, Banggai Kepulauan Regency. The background of this activity is based on observation results which show that the use of learning media in the classroom is still limited and lacks variety. The implementation method includes observation, material preparation, training implementation, and the application of hand puppets in learning activities. The results of the activity show that teachers are able to make and utilize hand puppets independently as a medium for storytelling and interactive communication. The use of hand puppets had a positive impact on the learning atmosphere, as indicated by increased attention, participation, and response from children during the learning process. This training proved that the development of simple media based on teacher creativity can support more interesting and effective learning in early childhood education.
