Abstract

The abuse of narcotics, psychotropic substances, and addictive substances (NAPZA) is a significant public health problem, particularly among adolescents who are highly vulnerable due to biological, psychological, and social developmental factors. The increasing prevalence of illicit substance use globally, including in Indonesia, demonstrates the urgency of education-based preventive interventions. This community service program aims to increase students' knowledge and awareness of the dangers of narcotics and juvenile delinquency through an educational and interactive approach. The implementation method includes socialization, counseling, interactive discussions, and evaluation. The material provided covers the definition and types of narcotics, health impacts, legal aspects, and prevention strategies. The results of the activity indicate an increase in students' understanding and awareness of the dangers of drug abuse, demonstrated through active participation in the discussions. Students also demonstrated positive attitudes and motivation to become agents of change in their respective environments. The educational-participatory approach has proven effective in improving adolescent health literacy related to narcotics. However, the sustainability of the program requires cross-sectoral support, including families, schools, and related institutions. Therefore, strengthening collaboration and utilizing information technology are recommended as long-term strategies in efforts to prevent narcotics abuse among adolescents.
